Common questions
Does buying fuel in a low-tax state lower my IFTA bill?
No. IFTA settles by miles, not by where you bought. You owe tax where you drove, and you get credit for tax already paid where you bought. Cheap pump prices still save you money at the pump. The tax part balances out on the return.
Is this a filed return?
No. This is an estimate built from the published Q3 2026 rates. Your real return also needs your trip records and receipts, and a few states have special rules this year. The app keeps those records and builds the file-ready report.
What counts as tax-paid gallons?
Fuel you bought at retail in a jurisdiction, with the tax included in the pump price. Keep the receipts. They are your proof if your base jurisdiction asks.
